Independent films offer the Producer a higher percentage return on profits than the Big Companies, Sony, DreamWorks, etc.etc. which offer a smaller return.  This particular film which we are seeking investors for is worth researching. This is a film from an Emmy Award Winning Producer / Director who has a long history of successful and profitable movie ventures.  The Budget on this Independent Movie is $57 Million which can be taken in with one investor or several. This is a Science Fiction Movie based upon a current popular running TV Miniseries. Just some of the creations from this Producer / Director are Sherlock Holmes, Alien Nation, The 6 Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, The Incredible Hulk to name a few. Come be a part of the most exciting, glamorous industry in the world. It's movie making! Investors who invest will be executive producers and will receive a credit on the screen in the film.

The financial plan here is investor-friendly…The initial split of the Producers Net Profits would be 80-20, with the 80% going to the investor until they have recouped 110% of their investment. The 20% is held back for other profit participants such as actors, etc. The anticipated return on investment would be approximately 24 months. Once the investor has recouped 110% of his investment the split would become 40% for them, 40% for Producers with the 20% continuing for other participants. Additionally, investors will also have the same share in any ancillary profits such as DVD, TV sales, etc.

Here’s a simplified version of the Producers Net Profit Definition…  

Producer’s Net Profit shall be defined as an amount equal to 100% of the LLC Production Entity’s taxable income or loss for each fiscal year for the picture tentatively titled “V The Movie”, determined in accordance with IRS Tax Code section 703(a) and exclusive of normal operating overhead which includes legal and accounting fees required for such ongoing financial reporting. The amounts payable shall be paid within 90 days following the end of the fiscal year of the LLC Production Entity.
